BULLDOG BEHAVIOUR BY THE BULLDOG INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH CENTER

The Bulldog is a good dog. Because of its Characteristic Behaviour can be used as a companion dog or as a guard dog, without being specific for both functions. The Bulldog should be alert, bold, loyal, dependable, courageous, fierce in appearance, but possessed of affectionate nature that is companion dog or guardian dog without a specific function. The Bulldog can be good with the other animals as cats, depending from the habit to live toghether. In my kennel the Bulldog were living with cats without problems. The Bulldog protects cats if they live toghether.

The behavior of dog depends from ambiental and genetics characteristics. It is very important what they learn from the mother and the father during the first months or later. The Bulldog imitates the behaviour of the other Bulldogs more than the other Dog Breeds, because of thes reason is not a good dog for human training. The Bulldog learns from the other Bulldog more than from humans, mostly from the mother, brothers, sisters and the father. The Bulldog do not change easily the behaviour learned from other Bulldogs, because of this reason the Bulldog Behaviour has to be considered a primary Characteristic of the Breed toghether with the Gait and the Head.
